Coconut Macaroons

2 Eggs 4oz. Caster Sugar 6oz. Desiccated Coconut
A Few Glace Cherries. Rice Paper or Baking Parchment.

Set oven to 180°C or Mark 4. Separate the eggs, beat the whites until they stand in peaks. With a metal spoon gently fold in the sugar then the coconut. Form into small balls and place on rice paper or parchment on a baking tray. Decorate with small pieces of cherry. Cook for approx. 15 minutes.

Shortbread Biscuits

1 Cup Icing Sugar 1 Cup Cornflour 2 Cups Plain Flour
8 oz. Margarine. (NB. American cups measurements)

Set oven to 180°C or Mark 4. Put all ingredients in a bowl and, with your hands, mix well together and form a ball. Roll out to desired thickness and press out with a cutter. Prick all over with a fork. Cook on a greased, or lined, baking sheet for 15 – 20 minutes.

Twiddle Muff – Cuff; Using 6.5mm (3) needles, cast on 45 stitches using 2 strands of DK or 1 of chunky wool. Plain colour, work in stocking stitch for 11 inches. Muff Body; Continue in stocking stitch but use up oddments of various textures of wool, such as mohair, ribbon, chunky etc. until the work measures 23 inches. Cast off, join sides, push cuff inside muff body, join ends. Decorate with buttons and other bits to twiddle with.

**The Hospice shop welcomes craft items to sell in their shop. Delivery can be arranged.

Potato in a bucket. Class 20. Rules. Potato to be purchased for 20p from Marian Pope, Sue Leeder or José Burrow by beginning of April. Plant in your own bucket. Bring to the hall by 10.30am. on show day. The potatoes and their weight will be displayed outside the hall. After the show please take away your bucket and contents.

Section 4. An arrangement excludes accessories (unless stated otherwise). An Exhibit allows accessories.
