In light of the current situation we understand it is going to be a period of huge worry and uncertainty.

Unfortunately, unscrupulous individuals and criminal gangs are exploiting members of the public to make a financial gain for themselves. Cyber-crime is a Tier 1 threat to National Security and criminals will exploit any opportunity they can.

You have no doubt heard on the TV or radio about lots of scams that are taking advantage of the current COVID 19 Pandemic and the distress that this is causing across the country.

We have attached some info graphics highlighting some of the most common scams and phishing emails that are being seen by law enforcement at the moment. I strongly advise that you look at these and circulate them amongst your community groups, friends and family.

There is some great advice on these emerging threats which can be found at and at the National Cyber Security Centre website, which also offers advice and guidance on working from home. Alternatively if you wish to contact us personally, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. We are looking to provide Cyber Security awareness seminars over webinar (virtual presentations), in the coming weeks on topics such as safe working from home, protecting your business from cyber criminals and current threats. If this would be something you would be interested in or would be of benefit to you or your organisation, please let us know.
